AUGUST HOPPE
August Hoppe is a third generation arborist. He has been a certified arborist since 2001. He is a Past- President of the Wisconsin Arborist Association. He also serves as Chair of the Wisconsin Urban Forestry Council. August is currently on the national board of the Tree Care Industry Association. August has spoken to numerous group and organizations regarding tree care topics such as healthy pruning and common insect and diseases found in landscapes. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, running and cycling, and listening to history podcasts.

FRED HOPPE
Fred is a third generation arborist. He has been an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified arborist since 2002. Fred became one of the first Certified Tree Care Safety Professionals in the country in 2004. Fred attained the ISA Board Certified Master Arborist credential in 2013. Most recently Fred has become a ISA qualified tree risk assessor. When Fred is not looking at trees, he can be seen wrestling with his three kids Van, Bex, and Lo or running with his german shepherd Schatzi.

JOHN WAYNE FARBER
In 2010, John Wayne received a BS in Urban Forestry and Forest Management from UW Stevens Point. He started with Hoppe Tree Service as an intern in 2008 and has held many positions including; crew member, crew leader, maintenance supervisor, sales arborist, safety and training coordinator, special operations coordinator, and is currently out south metro operations manager. He has earned many qualifications including, Game of Logging certification, Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator, ISA Certified Arborist, TCIA Electrical Hazards Awareness Program certification, ISA test proctor, Wisconsin’s first Qualified Tree Risk Assessor, TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professional, ISA Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist Evaluator, and ISA Board Certified Master Arborist. When not at work he spends much of his time contributing to the future of our industry by; teaching annual courses for the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in tree climbing and tree felling, along with spending time with his wife Katie.

ANDREA MILLER
Andrea has worked for Hoppe Tree Service since 2015. She started off as a Customer Care Representative and she now schedules and plans the tree work operations for our northern metro area. She coordinates jobs with the sales arborists and the tree crew leaders. She also plans work with WE Energy and Diggers hotline to make sure jobs operate smoothly. When she is not working she enjoys watching her son play baseball, football, basketball and just about any other sport you can think of.

BOB GLUCK
One of the first in Wisconsin to become a certified arborist, now with over 30 years of experience, expert diagnostician, and plant health care consultant. Bob works with Urban Wood Utilization by doing custom woodworking projects. He is also the president of Pheasants Forever and avid outdoors enthusiast.

CORY TUCEK
Cory Tucek has been with Hoppe Tree Service for three years. Before Hoppe, he served in the United States Army for four years as an infantryman serving two tours of duty in Iraq. He then attended the University of Stevens Point and received his bachelor's degree in urban forestry. He became a certified arborist in 2017 while working with the bucket crew and becoming a skilled climber. He has also worked with our plant health care division, improving and maintaining the health of our urban forest. When not working, he enjoys spending time hunting and fishing with his three daughters, Kiara, Charlotte and Rory.

PAT WALSH
Pat Walsh led a Hoppe Tree Service tree crew for six years before he joined our sales arborist team in 2020. With his extensive field experience, Pat brings an expert perspective to every customer consultation. He holds a degree in environmental science in addition to his arborist certification. An outdoor person all of his life, Pat left his work at Johnson Controls to return to school before joining Hoppe. He and his wife take their two young children for outdoor adventures as often as possible. Pat also loves running, biking and skiing.

Brad Hill
Brad has led Hoppe’s Plant Health Care Services team since 2013, ensuring the health of trees and shrubs through diagnosis, treatment and ongoing inspection and care. He joined Hoppe in 2010 after gaining extensive experience in tree conservation and problem-solving through his work with the Conservation Corps and as a wildland firefighter. Brad earned his degree in Forestry from Northern Arizona University. When he’s not at work, Brad loves to hang out with his kids Maebelle and Lido, and gets out to golf as often as possible.
